Visibility of system status Usability Heuristic #1

The system should always keep the users informed about what is going on, through appropriate feedback within reasonable time.

The image map combined with the page title and error message clearly communicate to the user that the address they entered on the previous screen needs to be validated.

Match between system and the real world Usability Heuristic #2

The system should speak the users' language, with words, phrases and concepts familiar to the user, rather than system-oriented terms. Follow real-world conventions, making information appear in a natural and logical order.

All the communication on this page is easily understood by the user.  The titles: "You entered:" and "We suggest:" are clear and unambiguous. The format of the address is also easily recognized.

In contrast, a poor design might use the following:
Input:   in place of   You entered:
City:Lee's Summitt,
State:MO, Zip:64063
in place of Lee's Summitt, MO 64063
Valid: in place of We suggest:
